1. Incisors

These incisors commonly appear first among of all the teeth which occur at the six months for the baby set while at the age of six up to eight for the adult set of teeth. You should know that the main function of these incisors is to help you in biting your food.

2. Canines

Another one is the canines which are also called as the fangs and the next type of teeth that will develop. The first set of canines commonly appears at the 16 up to 20 months while the permanent set is at the ages of nine up to 12. You should know that these four canines are the sharpest teeth that you have which is the reason why you used it for tearing and ripping the food apart.

3. Premolars

The premolars or also called as bicuspids are another type of teeth that you can have. These premolars are very different as compared to the other types of teeth because it has no primary set. These four premolars are located equally at the side of the upper and lower jaw of your mouth. It also appears at the age of ten and used to chew and grind the food.

4. Molars

And last in the list are the molars which commonly appear at the 12 months until 28 months for the primary set while the permanent set appears at the age of six up to 13. The permanent set of molars does not also replace any of your primary teeth but instead, comes behind all the teeth. The main function of these teeth is also for grinding and chewing the food.
